Heidi M. Torvik
Experienced Minnesota Litigator
Meet Heidi M. Torvik
With considerable experience in all aspects of litigation, Heidi Torvik guides her clients through all steps of the process – from early meetings through trial completion. Heidi Torvik is experienced in handling cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, loss caused by an intoxicated person (defined by the Minnesota Dram Shop Act), products liability, and motorized vehicle accidents. Heidi Torvik regularly represents those who have been wronged or injured, as well as those who have had claims of wrongdoing made against them. Her experience on both sides of the legal aisle has honed her negotiation skills, enabling her to effectively represent both plaintiffs and defendants in arbitration and court proceedings at both state and federal levels, as well as at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Heidi M. Torvik was recently admitted to United States Court of Federal Claims and is now representing petitioners injured by vaccines and improper vaccine administration in the vaccine court.
In addition to her experience in litigation, Heidi Torvik also excels in handling trust and estate disputes, commercial and real estate litigation, and providing general advice and counsel to individuals and corporations on a range of business and legal issues. Her roots in west central Minnesota, where her father practiced law for over 50 years (some of the time as elected Chippewa County Attorney), inform Heidi’s dedication to representing clients in the region with empathy, honesty, and integrity.
Heidi Torvik communicates her clients' needs clearly and effectively, and approaches her work with a daily focus on sincere compassion. She recognizes that to serve her clients to her fullest requires her attention as both personal advocate and legal counselor at all stages in the litigation process.
